Getting to Abergavenny
Abergavenny has excellent travel connections, with good roads and excellent rail services. Additionally there are very good local and long-distance buses and coaches.
By Car: The M4 from London, the South-East and Home Counties; the A40 via the Cotswolds, Gloucester and Monmouth; The M6, M5, M50 and A40 from the North and Midlands, or through the Welsh Marches by way of the A449, A465 or A466.
By Rail: Abergavenny is served by fast and frequent train services on the Cardiff to Manchester line. Connections from London Paddington, Bristol and the south west of England are available at Newport. Connections from Birmingham are available at Hereford.
By Coach or Bus:The town has excellent coach and bus connections, both local and long-distance.
